		<description>The rotunda in the &lt;a href="http://www.cincymuseum.org/" rel="nofollow"&gt;Cincinnati Union Terminal&lt;/a&gt; has the same feature.  I think there's such a whisper gallery in the US Capitol, too, but can't be bothered to confirm it.</description>

		<description>The last time (many years ago) I was the Exploratorium in San Francisco, they had two large parabolas cast in concrete spaced about 40 feet apart with the concave sides facing each other. Persons whispering at one parabola would be heard at the other one.</description>

		<description>There's another weird acoustic effect at the &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bicentennial_Mall_State_Park" rel="nofollow"&gt;Bicentennial Mall State Park&lt;/a&gt; in Nashville, TN.  In the court pictured on the Wikipedia page, you can stand in the center and hear your voice echoed off the columns, but some one standing at any other location can't hear the echo.  The park, BTW, is beautiful, with lots of cool historircal tidbits and massive stone maps of the state.  If you're into that kind of thing (which I am).</description>
